Google docs are linked to the popular web site search engine, www.google.com. A Google doc is form of spread sheet or word processor that is offered by Google. It allows people to create and edit real word documents while discussing with real time other people. Google docs started off of two web based site products. These products are, Writely and Google spreadsheets, and launched in August of 2005. Google docs has expanded broadly throughout time and is even accessed via mail, or through the mobile devices at hand. Google docs is an easy at use hand program and even allows or gives you a brief tour to understanding the program. Teachers in today’s schooling use Google docs because it is an easy way to set up a presentation or document without having to download anything to a computer. Google docs help promote peer and group work editing skills. In October of 2007, Google docs held a program called, “Global warming students speak out”. It invited teachers and students to collectively join together to brainstorm ideas or opinions on the term global warming. They wanted people (students and teachers) to speak out and then to hear out on other teacher and students opinions on their opinions.
