Blogs are a much known items, through MySpace, xanga, blogs.com, google, facebook, and much more. Blogs is also short for “web log”. It is a kind of common place where people post journals, diaries, and are kept on the internet or web. Blogs are different than other forms of web by that they are updated frequently, they include plenty of links to other sights, and maintain a personal tone. And uniquely the most popular blogs are run by conversations, like talk radio. Blogging is a mainstream journalists, they pushes the writer’s or blogger’s topic to the media or the public instantly. Blogging is not known as copyrighting either. The first known use of a blog was posted in August 1998, to a Jonathan Dube of The Charlotte Observer who published one chronicling Hurricane Bonnie. Some teaching scenarios for blogging are coming from lots of teachers, mainly inside the college walls. For example, there is a blogging teacher who believes in the power and value of connective writing. Sometimes the best ideas can come from the past, and this teacher believes that blogging can help redefine this all. The teacher thinks with blogging you can easily go back in time and see what earlier posts you have, and those posts can help you with any future posts, papers, or assignments. Connecting for attention is another reason on why this teacher chooses to blog. She thinks when students are writing for a specific audience, an online environment will keep the student writing, because there is always someone reading or paying attention to your posts.
